Welcome/ who am I?

Hello my name is Isabel Laver but you can call me Izz. I’m doing this website to write blogs about what I love and to show off some things that I have done in my spare time. As of writing, I am 17 years old, just completed my first year of BTEC games design/development, and I am aspiring to get into the gaming industry. To be able to achieve this I am starting to write blogs and short stories about games whilst teaching myself skills like C++, Blender, and social media. Further down below are my Instagram's and YouTube for you to check out alongside my best Blender work.

Other than teaching myself these skills outside of lesson I am also a part of a girls in gaming club at college, a part of a wider games club in my county, and am taking part in young volunteers' group. I love doing these as I am meeting people with similar interests and am also giving back to the community. By doing these I have also been given the opportunity to take part in a seminar to raise awareness of women in the gaming industry and completing a graffiti workshop. These two things were amazing to do and I also learnt new skills like how to do graffiti from them.

For the future I am looking forward to writing blogs on here, writing stories on Wattpad, and growing my Instagram and YouTube accounts. To be able to do this I am planning on making weekly content on this website and YouTube, posting regularly to Instagram, and trying to write a short story or similar every two weeks. Once I have gotten into a flow of sorts, I will be teaching myself GitHub to upload my coding as evidence that I can code.
