Tomodachi Thursday- Randomness and Plans

Hello again today I am going to be showing off some randomness from in game and also some plans for the future. This is going to be a different blog than usual and I'm sorry about that but I do hope that you would enjoy it anyways.

Plans

For plans I have been thinking about making new islanders and maybe transporting some from my other saves. This would mean that I would have more islanders without having to make them and worry about diversity in islanders. Some of these islanders are from the gaming industry and also Harry Potter, so they would be cool to include. Other islanders I'm planning on adding would be from QR codes found online. I would like to also put a disclaimer that these plans might change as college picks up flow, but I will do everything I can to make this work out.

Weird Things Islanders Say

In this game if you press on the three dots above their heads, you get them to say something. An example is: "You shouldn't eat cheese before bedtime". Honestly that's definitely something Dumbledore would say, but it is still weird. There's also really cute things they say like "The first time I met Kenny, I knew we'd be best friends!". That is just so adorable considering they both are best friends.

Relationships Between All Of Them

Honestly, I absolutely adore the relationship system in this game. If you compare it to the Sims relationship system this is far superior. For me it's just mainly the fact that relationships are two sided and not the same, and that makes it more realistic for me. A really good example is Izz's and Todd's marriage where one is very happy, and the other slightly unhappy with the relationship. By doing this, it add realism by having them think differently even if they are just game characters. I can go on about this all day so I'll leave you there.

Randomness Around the Island

Not all random things happen in their apartments. Some of the most weirdest things happen outside of them, like in the café for example. On that note if I ever feel sluggish please don't respond with "I like slugs.". Just please no. Other weird stuff that happens usually happens on the roof. To get this to happen, you interact with an islander and they would say they have a note to meet someone on the roof, say yes, they do it, and then randomness happens basically. Thinking about it, hoe do they not know who the other person is? The disguises are usually quite bad so it doesn't make sense to me.

Fountain Activities

At certain points in the day, the fountain has activities going on. Two of them are Rap Battle and Word Chain as you can see below. They are quite fun and harmless to watch. This is mainly because you just turn up and watch them do it which isn't hard, and it doesn't have any impact on them so that's good.
