Hello bambino’s today I will be talking about my top 5 favourite video games as of this half of 2022. This is in no way a definitive list and it is just my opinions. I hope you enjoy.

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life(GameCube)
This was the first Harvest Moon game I have played and has the best realism in terms of Harvest Moon games. Everything from your child growing up with you throughout the years, the buying/selling system being more 'market' based, and the vibes of the town draws me back again and again. It doesn't feel like you do the same things from year to year because everyone is changing with time, especially your child. There's actually different way's to raise your child to get different careers at the end of the game which is very interesting. Some of the careers are farmer, scholar, and musician where you can spend a lot of time replaying to get each career for your child. This combined with the nostalgia that I have for the game is why I love it so much honestly.
Harvest Moon The Tale of Two Towns(3DS)
This game has the cutest animals in the series which is honestly what I love about the overall aesthetics of the game the most. Aesthetic wise it's cutesy and 2D which is a drastic change from A Wonderful Life. I love the feel of both towns even though I do play in Bluebell the most as it is the easiest the make money in as its the one with animals. With the two towns there's two specialities, animals or crops. Animals (my favourite) is in Bluebell and crops are in Konohana. This makes farming easier as there's room for either one which I like better as I want lots of animals and not some of one or the other. As it’s a DS game it’s also very portable and fun to play on the go.
Zelda Breath of The Wild(Switch)
Link is hot. End of discussion. Good day.
In all seriousness, my favourite part is to mess about and see how the enemies react in game. It's actually pretty funny to shoot arrows and hide from most of them as they'll never find nor catch you. On top of this it's open world and Zelda so best of two worlds for people who, like me, like both. Compared to other Zelda games you can go anywhere and do anything without feeling limited and Breath of the Wild is my favourite for that. My only complaint is weapon durability but as it's fun there's room for forgiveness.
Skyrim(Switch, PC)
This game has a lot of dragons and dragons are cool. They breathe fire and have they're own language and magic. Literally, what isn't cool about these dragons? In game I like to assassinate people and be a sneak thief which has a guild or two to accommodate that. One of my favourite guilds is the Dark Brotherhood as the armour is probably the coolest in the game by far, and they're assassins so they can't go wrong. There's a lot I don't know about the game still so can just explore without being bored. If you like more traditional RPG's than definitely check Skyrim out. Hail Sithis!
Minecraft(PC, Switch)
Minecraft let’s creativity bloom with buildings and rollercoasters you can build amongst other things in game. There's also different modes for difficulties or to accommodate play styles. For example, creative you have free reign without worrying about death where hardcore mode is the complete opposite as if you die once, your world gets deleted. This definitely allows a lot of freedom and customisation within creating your worlds. The one thing I love the most is that I can explore and get lost without being bored. There's always new caves to explore, villages to raid, or enemies to run from. It's just a beautiful game.
Bonus: Console Version of Sims 3(Xbox360)
My honest opinion is that even though it lacks a lot of features, it is way better than Sims 4. There’s actual in game challenges as well as Sim aspirations that makes the game seem like its worth playing. From when I'm writing this there's also progression in the world where it seems like your Sims lives seems relevant in the grand scheme of things. Its just a game where it just feel like more of a game than it's successor honestly and its frustratingly okay.
Thank you for reading and if you have a favourite game that's not mentioned please tell me the game and we could talk about it!
